Summary :: “What do you dream of?” Uruha asked, pulling the other man with the thick black hair down on top of him, giving him a mimic of the seductive grin he knew the other couldn't resist. The freshly made bed rose and pillowed around them, holding the shape in which they lied in with a soft sigh of pleasurable strain before even that faded. The black blue strands brushed against his cheek, mingling with the milky coffee coloured strands of Uruha's own as they shared a candy kiss that left a red stain against the pouted flesh of the elders lips.

“Only little kids talk of those kinds of dreams, Uruha.” Aoi replied, poking out his tongue before bursting into lilting peal of laughter. Always smiling, always laughing, both of them these days, uncontrolable. “We’re way past that by now wouldn’t you say?” In between giggles; Uruha wriggled happily, placing a palm against the warm expanse of chest that rose and fell with each intake of the peppermint scent mixed with the male perfume and the cigarettes in the black hair. Though truthfully... Aoi had dreamt all his dreams. "I think we can go on forever..."

It had been his touch first of all, long years ago when they had first met, Akiya remembered. As he bowed low over their hands held to be shaken; the firm grip and the soft skin; doing this first, so the shyer Shin could compose himself before officially greeting the imposing figure that Isshi cut back then. Even now... But years had passed and to him these days, Isshi was no more than an occasionally grumpy adult with often forrays into childishness.

Summary: Twisted sorrowful words in the darkness pierced his chest through and through, tormented screams ripping the black away, knifing the pallid skin; leaving less and rending flesh from muscle and marrow from bones, the remnants of his fractured body falling, falling.

He awoke with a splash, eyes wide and raw with the blood and old tears. Water spilled carelessly over the edges of the bath and onto the rotting floor to steam and fester amongst the mould.

Comments: First fic I've finished for a long while. I've started writing more and I really adore writing Ruki and Uruha. I was listening to The Butterfly Effect a lot when I started writing this, especially Without Wings. They're a band I fully recommend.
It's a bit strange but I like writing stories like this.

I watched the sky again; a bruised feeling pounding in my heart under the cotton candy pink that exploded like buttered popcorn and muffled your strangled sob. It was the last blossom of colour before the sky went pitch black and sheets of rain fell again from the sky. You didn’t move.

Only to be defeated as he entered his third by two hot hands splayed against his cheeks and the firm pads of thumbs brushing over the down turned corners of his mouth into a fake smile.

The blushing pixie and the grinning Oni. Shacked up together in a snowstorm of catastrophic proportions with no escape (thankfully the wind was blowing in some other direction now it seemed, he couldn’t tell in the dark), unless they wanted to burrow their way out.
